Scope of Work
JS Enterprises Custom Landscaping upgraded this large, property east of Parker into a clean, functional, and visually appealing outdoor space. The project began with a tan flagstone walkway leading from the street to the front door, adding both character and a natural Colorado aesthetic to the home’s entrance.
In the backyard, our team installed a paver patio complete with a rectangular fire pit and a matching seat wall, creating a dedicated gathering area for evening relaxation and outdoor entertaining. To bring maturity and scale to the landscape, large Ponderosa and spruce trees were sourced and spaded in using a heavy truck, instantly enhancing the property’s visual impact.
Along the front porch, natural stone chunks were used to construct a raised planter wall, adding depth, structure, and a durable foundation for future plantings. The result is a clean, cohesive landscape that blends natural materials with functional outdoor living features.

Challenges and Solutions
This Merryvale Trail project presented a familiar challenge: a large, mostly untouched landscape needing structure, usability, and visual interest. The wide-open front yard lacked definition, so JS Enterprises installed a tan flagstone walkway to guide visitors naturally to the front door while complementing the home’s exterior.
The backyard required a functional gathering space, solved by installing a paver patio with a rectangular fire pit and seat wall (materials chosen for their durability in Colorado’s freeze–thaw climate). To overcome the lack of mature vegetation, the team sourced large Ponderosa and spruce trees and spaded them in with specialized equipment, instantly giving the property height, shade, and a more established feel.
Finally, natural stone chunks were used to build a raised planter wall along the front porch, adding both structure and a foundation for future plantings. Each element addressed a specific need; function, durability, or visual impact, resulting in a clean, Colorado-ready landscape that feels grounded and complete.
