Scope of Work
JS Enterprises Custom Landscaping enhanced another property on Golden Bear Lane in Castle Pines North, with a design focused on privacy, relaxation, and functional outdoor living. The homeowners wanted a space that felt secluded while still offering multiple areas to unwind and enjoy the natural setting.
To create privacy along the rear property line, we planted large Austrian Pine trees, forming a dense evergreen screen that blocks views into neighboring backyards. Running the full length of that same property line, a custom water feature was installed to add movement, visual interest, and a calming acoustic backdrop.
A 15′ x 15′ Buff Flagstone patio was built alongside the water feature to serve as a secondary seating area. The space includes a 3′ natural‑gas fire pit and a stone slab bridge that provides a clean, durable walkway to the patio.
To finish the landscape, a full sprinkler system was installed and new sod was laid in both the front and back yards, creating a healthy, cohesive lawn that ties the entire property together.

Challenges and Solutions
The primary challenge for this property was creating privacy without relying on fencing alone. Large Austrian Pines were selected for their height, density, and ability to thrive in Castle Rock’s climate, forming a natural screen that will continue to mature over time.
The homeowners also wanted a relaxing environment that didn’t require extensive maintenance. The full-length water feature provides continuous movement and sound while remaining efficient in Colorado’s dry conditions. The Buff Flagstone patio and natural‑gas fire pit add a functional gathering space that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
